Which High Def Digital Signage Player Best for My Application?

What High Definition digital signage players Caltron has?

Caltron provides two different high definition digital signage players, The MP-1080A DVI Digital Signge Player and MP-1080H HDMI Digital Signage Player. Both players use the same core chip, support the same features and functions like network connection, Wi-Fi, multi-zone, WiFi enabled option, multi-player syncing, playing MPG videos and JPG still image format files. The players can schedule playlists, be used with Atmio’s custom created software for the players and also require no software licensing through the latest solid-state technology.

What are the differences between DVI and HDMI signage players?

There are a few differences between the players; the output ports and function features would be to name a couple. The MP-1080A has VGA and DVI video outputs, an I/O port for interactive boards, and an analog audio port. The I/O port on the MP-1080A creates an optional keypad that can be used with the player to make displays interactive for the user and it ultimately can be used for interactive video synchronization as well. This model is best suited for new and traditional TVs and monitors that don’t have YPbPr and HDMI input ports. The MP-1080H has VGA and HDMI a/v outputs to fit most current TVs and monitors that only accepts HDMI and VGA inputs. TheMP-1080H does not have an I/O port for an interactive keypad to be used. The MP-1080H has a unique and compact size that makes it more convenient to use than bulky oversized computers.

Many customers with small and large projects liked the compact size, durability and usability of Caltron’s high definition players; both are very reliable to operate under 24-7 circumstances. Customers are welcome to contact Caltron and urged to try both models before making a final decision. Please contact Caltron Sales for more information.
