Caltron’s 12(12.1) Inch 4:3 Aspect Ratio Sunlight Readable High Bright 5-Wire Resistive LED Backlit LCD Touch Screen Open Frame comes in two model types. The HBT-1212OTEAR has RS232 Serial open frame touch screen interface, the HBT-1212OTEARU has USB open frame touch screen interface. Both are perfect for industrial control panels or keypad use.

With an 1600 nit LCD panel rated at 50,000 hours MTBF, this minuscule open frame form factor is a space saver and gives your application designer freedom to build all types of enclosure models. Take solace in our open frame monitor enclosure design as it will never change even when a new generation of LCD panels is introduced. Once you design in the monitor, the open frame enclosure will remain consistent throughout the lifetime of the product.

As more applications make a home in outdoor environments, the need for sunlight readable displays increase and Caltron will plan to expand our high bright display and touch screen lineup in the future to fulfill the new demand.
