Newest Model Incorporates Cutting-Edge Visual for Use in Industrial Applications
Exceptional visual display and state-of-the-art touch technologies places Caltron Industries’ LWT-185O at the forefront of today’s 18.5-inch industrial monitors.
Caltron has incorporated features into the LWT-185O that enhance display clarity, such as:
- Optical bonding, an optional process in which a special glass pane is sealed to the LCD panel. The panel prevents dust and moisture from accumulating and cuts down glare. When equipped with optical bonding, the LWT-185OC model is particularly suited for use in both indoor and outdoor applications.
- Wide angles for easier viewing. The LWT-185O has a 16:9 overall widescreen ratio and viewing angles of 170 degrees left to right and 160 degrees, top to bottom.
- Energy-saving LED backlighting technology, an improvement over CCFL backlighting, which uses hazardous mercury to illuminate.
Choices of Touch Technologies Include Resistive, P-Cap
Touch technology options with the LWT-185O include five-wire Resistive and Projected Capacitive (P-Cap). Resistive is versatile, cost-effective, and enables the user to use a finger, fingernail, stylus, or similar object to manipulate the display. P-Cap, often found in smartphones, responds to conductive properties of the user’s finger, or multiple fingers.
